  • In this class, the students will gain an appreciation for two types of art: oil paintings and handicrafts. Students should expect to learn about paintings from the past one week, and the next week they will get a chance to make a craft. (I.e. first Friday - Art Appreciation, third Friday- Handicrafts.)

  • The class will focus on learning about a specific type of art/technique. The students will plan a piece of art one week, and then the following lesson he/she will be facilitating the plan. (The lessons will likely be Pointillism, sculpting, paint pouring, a multimedia deco, podge box.)

  • Through demonstration, experiments, and discussion, we’ll discuss science and engineering principles that explore the mechanics behind things and the way they work.

  • Each class, we will either be playing a game (board, card, logic, puzzle) promoting cooperation, communication, strategy and critical thinking, or we will be learning how certain things  are made and going through the process.  It will be a hands-on, interacting class.

Field Trip Schedule

All events will be family-based, so family units will be able to stay together and not break into age levels. There are also no assigned helping roles for parents, you’re simply responsible for your own children during our events.
